Tonight I begin my 5th Muse album in the 7 album series, “The Resistance”. That leaves “Absolution” and the band’s most recent, “Drones”. Rivaling “Origins of Symmetry”, this album is certainly a favorite. There is a three part symphony at the end of the album that I recall to be pretty life changing. I can listen to it over and over again and feel fulfilled each time. It appeals to my classical background with orchestrations that levitate me to the far reaches of my imagination.
I also have a piece of choreography to one of the Exogenesis symphonies that I’ll be revisiting. When I saw Muse perform this album live, they officially became my all-time favorite band, hands down. A highlight tonight is when I pretended to be the curly young lady who dances in the “Undisclosed Desires” video (see below). All in all a fun night!
